LinhPhung Huynh (she/her) provides staff support to Council members and manages Council operations. Linh’s background is in policy research and development with a focus on health equity, human rights, and equity in government. She believes state government plays an instrumental role in providing resources and opportunity, and that it has the paramount responsibility to build just, inclusive systems that fully recognize the inherent dignity of all individuals.
Previously, Linh served as Policy Advisor at the Washington State Department of Health where she partnered closely with the State Board of Health on rulemaking and policy development. Before that, she was the Project Manager for the Office of Equity Task Force where she supported Task Force members in creating a blueprint for a new state Office of Equity.
Linh received her advanced degree in Global Policy Studies with a specialization in Global Governance & International Law from the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. Her bachelor’s degree in Political Science-International Studies and minor in Human Rights are from the University of Washington.
