Lydia M. Faitalia (Samoan/Tongan) was born and raised in California. She moved to WA in 2018 and worked for United Indians of All Tribes Foundation until 2023. She is a proud member of the inaugural 2022 Native Action Network Advocacy Boot Camp Cohort and the 2022-2023 Native Action Network Legacy of Leadership Cohort V. She served on the Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA) from 2019 to 2026. She received her BA in American Indian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is currently completing her MA at UCLA. Lydia currently works for the City of Seattle in the Department of Neighborhoods on the Community Partnerships Division Team. She brings over 25 years of community service and leadership experience to the Governors Interagency Council on Health Disparities.
