February 7 Public Meeting Summary

Our February public meeting is in the books. During the half-day meeting, Council members spent their time discussing future direction and priorities, how it would implement its newly adopted operating principles, and reviewed and updated its bylaws. During the public comment period, staff from the Department of Health shared a demonstration of the Washington Tracking Network's Environmental Health Disparities Map, which is an interactive mapping tool that compares communities across our state for environmental health disparities. Our next public meeting is scheduled for May 2. Agenda items are in the works and location information will be available soon. Sign-up for email alerts to receive future meeting agenda and other Council news and information delivered directly to your inbox.
