Council Member Bio - John Ridgway - Governor's Interagency Council on Health Disparities

John Ridgway's primary professional expertise is based on 20 years at the Washington State Department of Ecology as an environmental specialist and manager. It includes 12+ years as the agency's lead on environmental justice. Mr. Ridgway is a current member of the National Environmental Justice Advisory Council - an advisory group to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and has conducted extensive study in 1994-95 on the nature and extent of environmental inequities in Washington State for the Legislature.
