Danette "Danno" Ives, MPA

Representing the Governor's Office of Indian Affairs

Danno Ives is the Health Services Director for the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe. Ms. Ives is an enrolled member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe and has worked for the Tribe since 1980.


Ms. Ives manages and administers the Tribe's Health Services Department, including: quality assurance, staff supervision and development, active monitoring of state and federal health issues, resource development, planning/grant writing, management of facilities/equipment, information technology, fiscal accountability, and overall program direction. Prior to her current role as Health Services Director, she was the Human Resources Coordinator for the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe.

Ms. Ives received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a Tribal Management Concentration and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis on Tribal Governance from the Evergreen State College.

Ms. Ives represents the Governor's Office of Indian Affairs on the Governor's Interagency Council on Health Disparities. In addition, she is a delegate to the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and the American Indian Health Commission and serves on the Indian Policy Advisory Committee of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.
